Day 34: This is the day...

"A man does not climb a mountain without bringing some of it away with him, and leaving something of himself upon it." -Sir Martin Conway
This is the day that I was thinking about when we talked about doing this trip. The Adirondacks! :) Not disappointed. At all!
And we are enjoying a delightful evening on Long Lake with Chuck and Judy Schindler in their beautiful home.  We are missing Kevin and Jan but truly realize why they love this place so much. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.  :)
Some of these guys (below) just about turned into Thanksgiving dinner today.  It seems that every place I tried to park and wait for Scott I about hit some wild turkeys. They didn't seem phased at all.
I have been loving all the quilts I have seen. My son-in-law Mike says people from Hawaii are funny cuz we hang quilts on the wall. ;)
These talented people in the Adirondacks make beautiful quilts that also keep them warm on cold nights!  Go figure!  ;)
